This is a very telling interview that Frank Shamrock did with MMA Madness recently. In it Frank talks bout Ken's steroid use, his upcoming fight with Cung Le and how he will never fight for the UFC.

Here are some quotes from the interview:

MMA Madness: You say that you've seen guys take steroids. Could you maybe give us any names?

Shamrock: Sure, my brother Ken did them his whole life.

MMA Madness: Really?

Shamrock: Yeah. Why do you think that his mind is so fried? Why do you think he crumbles before the big fights? He's got no psyche. He let steroids give him a false sense of security and the moment that stuff is gone he's no longer superman. He's just a regular man. But without all the hard work and without all the belief in himself that a regular man would have if he got up to that point. He's the only guy that I'll tell on, because he's always in trouble anyway.

haha thats fucked up! I wonder if Frank told on Ken because Ken was the adopted son. I remember when I was younger, seeing a show about how Ken got started, and i think they said he was adopted. Perhaps he was also the outcast troubled kid.

I read Ken Shamrock's autobiography years ago and from what I remember, both Ken and Frank were adopted. Their dad was the guy with like 20 adopted kids. I may be wrong (it's probably been 10 years since I read the book) but I'm pretty sure they were both kids that the guy adopted.
