Chuck Lidelll Injured: Out Of UFC 85

It has been reported the Chuck "The Iceman" Lidell has a severe right hamstring injury and will not be fighting Rashad Evans at UFC 85. Originally Lidell was scheduled to fight Mauricio Shogun, however Shogun had to step out due to injury as well.

No replacement fighter has been announced as of yet. UFC states it is making up for this by stacking the card with 13 bouts, the most that's been on one fight card in over ten years. Here are the remaining bouts which look pretty good.

Fabricio Werdum vs. Brandon Vera
Martin Kampmann vs. Jorge Rivera
Nate Marquardt vs. Thales Leites
Thiago Tavares vs. Matt Wiman
Marcus Davis vs. Mike Swick
Luis Arthur Cane vs. Jason Lambert
Neil Wain vs. Antoni Hardonk

That sucks, I would have liked to have seen that fight...altho id like to have seen the original matchup more between lidell and shogun! Actually now it can still happen when they both recover.

I'm sure with Chuck hurt, Evans would like another crack at Ortiz before he leaves the UFC as expected.I'm looking most forward t Marquardt vs Leites
